Quick Bio

Jake served as GPSS President for 2 years, from 2008-2010.

Jake Faleschini is a concurrent degree student in Law and International Studies. He is in the third year of his J.D. at the School of Law and the second year of his M.A.I.S. at the Jackson School. Jake is focusing his graduate studies on international criminal law. After high school Jake spent a number of years traveling and working over seas. After returning to the US, he got a B.A. in International and Comparative Policy Studies at Reed College in Portland, Or. After college, he spent two years working for the New York State Attorney General's Office, prosecuting white collar and organized crime. While in graduate school he has clerked with the United States Attorney's Office in Seattle, the Honorable Judge Mertel, the Innocence Project Northwest Clinic, and the San Francisco District Attorney's Office. He hopes to work as a district attorney after graduating, and someday go on to do international criminal prosecution and criminal law reform. Jake has been named a Next Generation Leader by the American Constitution Society, a leading progressive legal organization. Jake enjoys backpacking, snowboarding, squash, and coaching lacrosse.
