Wanted Housing
From ASUW Wiki
The Wanted Housing page can be used to make a list of desired housing. This page will be linked to from the ocha website so that landlords can find out what students want. You may want to include contact information so that a landlord can contact you after listing a property that fits your description. However, remember that this page is accessible to everyone (so that landlords can see it) so you may want to disguise your address so that bots are not able to grab your address and spam you. For example: asuwtech@u.washington.edu could become asuwtech at u dot washington dot edu.
You may instead use the Uw:Wanted Housing page to post listings that are only viewable to the UW community if you wish to limit your audience.
For help on editing this page to add your listing please view the help pages.

Ravenna House - 9mo Sublet
We have a 9 bedroom house with 9 UW sophomores in it (all male), mostly engineering students. I am looking to share my room with another student for cheaper rent. I am not sure exactly, but the room is over 100 sf.
The rent would be $300 / mo. plus about $50 in utilities. There are 3 full bathrooms, 2 kitchens (w/ dishwashers), a washer and dryer, heating, cable TV, and internet. The room is in the basement with two other rooms, laundry room, bathroom, and kitchen. There is no cable hookup in the basement, so no TV and the only internet access is wireless. The house is ten blocks north of 45th, so it is about a 10-15 min. walk to campus. We would probably want you to sign onto the lease, but we are definitely open to discussing alternate agreements such as month by month, sublet, etc.
If interested please e-mail dylanfprice (at) aol.com

Laurelhurst House
$550 House-share in Laurelhurst Neighborhood, 4600 NE 54th St.
One spacious bedroom in a quiet 2 bedroom, 1 bath house. The room is available December 1st.

Seeking housing for 30 female grad student and kitty move-in at any time
Seeking a new place to live, and I can move in whenever I find a good match. I'd like to not move again before I get my phd (minimum two years), so short term isn't really desirable. I have gotten along with all sorts of people as housemates, but cleaner is better, and more of a sense of humor is better too. Social drinker nonsmoker (smoking outside ok). I generally get along with the other children, but would prefer to live with grad students or similar. I would have a hard time going much over $700 for rent. Please email me at guido_benini at yahoo dot com.

Superclean PhD student (31) and tech industry employee (30) seek 2 bdrm in Capitol Hill Feb 29, 2008
Looking for a pair of clean, quiet, responsible tenants who will take care of your revenue property?
That's us! Our lease is up Feb 29th and we're looking to move!
I'm Vanessa. I'm 31 and I'm a fully funded PhD student at the UW. My friend and roommate Denny is 30 and works full-time as an engineer in the tech industry. We are looking to move to the Capitol Hill area.
We are friendly Canadians who are pet-free, clean to the point of obsessive compulsion, non-smokers, have clean credit and rental histories, never wear shoes in the house (Asian thing, we grew up leaving shoes at the door), never throw parties (parties are better when the mess is at someone else's place), and have always treated our rentals as if they were our own homes. We are quiet, mature, responsible, and religiously pay rent on time.
As good tenants, we're hoping to find a good honest landlord and fair rent. We're looking for:
- 2/2 (preferred) or 2/1 for $1000-$1350 in Capitol Hill - off street parking for at least one car - W/D in suite preferred, on site laundry at a minimum - newer or recently renovated preferred - near busline to UW - 1 year lease ok - available end of Feb
Thanks for reading, Vanessa and Denny
