Neil Rotta

Neil Rotta has been involved in ASUW since Fall Quarter 2006. He began his involvement as a student senator where he served as the senate liaison to the Student Technology Fee Committee. He was instrumental in the creation of the Commuter Issues Caucus serving as an officer of the organization for three years. Neil was subsequently hired as the Experimental College Assistant Director in 2008 a post he held for a year before being promoted to Experimental College Director in 2009. In his fifth year as an undergraduate student (2010), Neil was hired as the ASUW Finance & Budget Director. Neil has also been heavily involved in several attempts to reform the Student Senate such as the Senate Summer Review Committee as well as other reform initiatives. Neil has been a constant advocate for the government model in ASUW and has worked hard to ensure accountability, representation, and placing limits on the power of the Board of Directors. Neil is a double major studying Political Economy and Latin American Studies with a minor in History. He will graduate in December of 2011.
